It all started with the Legend Vaal Piet Fourie, in 1965. The love of V8’s and drag racing were carried over to his children.
Fanie & Rudi both had to build their own race cars. The experience they gained by doing everything themselves made them the engine-and body builders they are today.
Drag racing is where they separated the men from the boys by winning in their classes and taking the trophy home.
Zelna started drag racing in ’94 at Midvaal Raceway, taking the finals at 1st place. After that there was no turning back.
This is the inspiration behind American V8 Parts. And to let the legend live on and keep on creating a new path for their children and grand children.
